Package tour to Shirakawago from Takayama
One operator is providing a private tour from Takayama to Shirakawago. Its price is highly competitive comparing our services. This tour is called “Shirakawago All Must-Sees Private Chauffeur Tour with a Driver (Takayama DEP.)” Unfortunately, this tour is not available on Sundays and Mondays.

A standard Shirakawago tour takes 4 hours. You can spend about 2 hours in Shirakawago. 2 hours are usually enough for Shirakawago tour. Especially in winter, it is too cold to stay outside. However, you can stay longer with additional charge. Morning or afternoon tours can be arranged. Pick up and drop off points are Takayama Station. Hotel pick up is available with additional transportation fees.

It is also possible to combine your tour with a Takayama half day tour. For example, you take a guided walking tour in the Takayama Old Town in the morning, then visit Shirakawago in the afternoon.

During Shirakawago Light up event, it is extremely difficult to get a car in the evening. We cannot guarantee the availability of a car. Therefore, a higher rate will be applied, even if it is available.
One day Shirakawago and Onsen Tour from Takayama
This tour is a seven-hour round trip tour to Shirakawago from Takayama. Starting time is 8:30 in the morning. Hotel pick-up in Takayama City is also available.
4-hour guided Shirakawago tour from Takayama (guide only)
This tour includes the guide only. You pay for the public bus service between Takayama and Shirakawago. Inexpensive option for those who needs a guide.
