In this plan, you take Shinkansen bullet train from Shin-Osaka/Kyoto Station to Gifu Hashima Station. From there our car with a guide takes you to Shirakawago. After the Shirakawago tour, you will be dropped in Takayama.
It is also possible to pick you up in Takayama and drop you at Gifu Hashima Shinkansen Station after the Shirakawago tour.
This plan is recommended for 1-4 persons. If your luggage is minimal, then up to 6 people can be accommodated.

Please note that this tour includes a guided tour of Shirakawago. If you need transport only, you need a car from transport company. So the prices differ.

Model itinerary for this tour
This itinerary is for a tour of Shirakawago only. It does not take into account bad weather or road conditions. If you also visit Takayama or Gokayama, your return time to Gifu Hashima Station will be 3 hours later.

We usually use a van (Toyota Estima or similar size), which has a capacity of up to 6 guests. We may prepare child safety seats if you are with children.
For a smaller number of passengers, we may use a smaller car.
Prices
Estimated price (including tax) for this tour is 85,000 JPY in case of our standard van.
Prices include a driver/guide, highway tolls, parking fees, fuel, and sales tax. Shinkansen Tickets, meals and admission fees are not included.
Shinkansen ticket from Osaka to Gifu-Hashima is about 6,000 yen per person (adult, low season price) for a reserved seat.

Payment and cancelation
In principle, our guests are required to pay 10,000 yen as a deposit at the time of reservation. The payment of the deposit can be made by WISE, Revolut, PayPal, credit card, or bank transfer. The balance is to be paid in cash, WISE or Revolut before or on the day of the tour.
If you cancel two days before, the day before, or the day of the tour for any reason, the deposit will not be refunded. Please check our cancelation policy before you proceed.
Tour will be cancelled if there is a possibility of heavy snowfall during the winter season. In winter, highways can be closed and bullet trains delayed. If this situation occurs before the tour starts, the deposit will be refunded even on the day of the tour.
