Is it possible to visit Takayama and Shirakawa-go from Tokyo and travel to Kyoto in one day? To put it another way, is it possible to stop off in Takayama and Shirakawa-go on the day you travel from Tokyo to Kyoto, or Kyoto to Tokyo?
Such trips are made possible by a combination of bullet trains and private cars. It would be difficult to do this using only public transport such as trains and buses.
You take Shinkansen from Tokyo (or Shinagawa) Station to Nagoya Station or Gifu Hashima Station. At these stations, meet with our guide and take a tour to Takayama and Shirakawago by car.
If you are interested, please consult us. We give you an advice.
If you do not need a private tour but are interested in a packaged tour, please see below. These tours are not operated by us, though.
