We have no more cars for the period 22nd Dec 2019 - 5 Jan 2020. So we do not conduct more tours during this period. Sorry for your inconvenience.

Contact us at least 2 weeks before your tour

Please contact us at least 2 weeks before the scheduled date of your tour. Otherwise, it is not possible to make necessary arrangement for your tour. If you plan a trip to Japan in high seasons (December-January, late March-early April, late April-early May), please contact us at least ONE MONTH before, or preferably TWO MONTHS before the tour date. The number of cars and drivers is very limited.

Year end and new year

Please note that during year-end and new-year holiday period (28 Dec - 5 Jan), high season price are to be applied. Typically, 10,000-15,000 yen per a car will be added to ordinary prices. Please also note that availability of cars and guides is alredy limited during this period.

Shirakawago light-up event 2020

On the days of Shirakawago light-up events, only registered cars are allowed to have access to the area on the days of events. So we are not going to offer private light-up tours in 2020 . Some group tours are available from Nagoya and Takayama (see here).

Private tour from Tokyo to Takayama and Shirakawago and arriving at Kyoto within a day

TakayamaYou can make a day tour from Tokyo to Takayama and Shirakawago, and arrive at Kyoto within a same day.

You take Shinkansen from Tokyo (or Shinagawa) Station to Nagoya Station. At Nagoya Station, meet with our guide and take a tour to Takayama and Shirakawago by car. If you use train from Nagoya to Takayama, or public bus, you can make Takayama only but not Shirakawago.

We also advice you to book a table for lunch since your schedule is very tight. We can do it for you.

Tour to Takayama and Shirakawago departing from Tokyo and arriving at Kyoto within a day

Make your own trip from Tokyo to Nagoya. You need a ticket of Shinkansen from Tokyo or Shinagawa Station to Nagoya Station. If you have Japan Rail Pass, you can use it. If you don't, you buy tickets. If you like, we include the price of the Shinkansen tickets in the price of your tour. We send the tickets to your hotel.

In this itinerary, you meet with our guide at Nagoya Station and take a car from Nagoya Station to Takayama and Shirakawago

Shinkansen fares (Kyoto-Nagoya-Kyoto), meals and admissions can be included upon request. Smaller cars are available for smaller groups and buses are also available for larger groups..
